GYO GREENS uses a sustainable farming method which combines traditional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals – in our case, fish – in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. All produce is grown naturally using standard organic practices.
Below is a snapshot of what is currently growing on the farm.

Often used as only a garnish, many underestimate parsley. It is actually a storehouse of nutrients with a crisp, vibrant taste. Native to the central Mediterranean region, parsley is widely cultivated as an herb, a spice, and a vegetable.
Horrible quality seeds. None were dark brown or tiger striped. Spent 800.00 on crap. I'm absolutely livid. Should ashamed youre taking peoples money. Never again.

I ordered 10 auto flower seeds from GYO. It took almost 3 months to get my order, and all 10 of the seeds were duds they refused to give any money back. And they have stopped responding to my emails. I normally order from seedsman.com, but they only accept bitcoin now. I guess I’ll just have to start buying that, worst experience ever they were also supposed to be good outdoor growing auto flowers and They were all junk I’ve been growing for 20 years so it’s not a novice mistake just a garbage company with garbage product and I’m out over $100
I have been stolen from to the tune of 55,500 eucalyptus points.
I had almost $70usd worth of eucalyptus points held on my GYO account as store credit. Now, there are no points. There is no GYO.
Earning a certification is achieved by completing eight lessons from the JMG Plant Growth & Development curriculum. The GYO Greens program is registered with Texas A&M University, headquarters for JMG programs.
GYO Greens owner Helga Tan Fellows says they will follow the official curriculum with one slight difference.
Now, the farm – which uses a sustainable farming method that combines traditional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals in tanks: in this case, fish) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment – is offering a Junior Master Gardener certification program for children ages 8-12.
Carolyn Houston, a science curriculum specialist at Bolles who has formal training in biology and a masters degree in education, developed GYO's education program and will serve as the lead instructor for program. As an international youth gardening program developed by the University Cooperative Extension Network, the program is designed to engage children in “novel, hands-on group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind.”
“It's eight modules that the kids have to complete, but in our case we're asking them to complete nine modules, and module No. 9 is aquaponics,” said Fellows. “So we put a nice twist on the program just to make it a little more unique.”
